Create an itinerary including The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses
The Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses boasts a collection of over 8,000 carved soldiers and horses. The figures in this World Heritage Site were buried in the 3rd century BCE with the first emperor of China, Qin Shi Huang, to protect him in the afterlife. The thousands of life-size soldiers stand at attention as an imperial army would in real life. Look for remains of the paint that originally lacquered each statue. • Quite fascinating but super crowded and sweaty, I recommend taking a small fan. Not much for kids but there is a gift shop which is pricey, restrooms kind of clean. I must repeat, too many people and you will have to queue for a long time in the Sun. Vending machines have long queues too. You’ll get thirsty. Chinese people also littered a lot. They should be ashamed of themselves! There are so many bins but they all throw it down the pit. They are also rude and they don’t let you sit anywhere. Fake tour guides are everywhere and people try to make you buy cheap novelty items for a pricey amounts. PLEASE DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TRICKS. If you want to go back to the hotel I recommend you download an app called ‘Di di’ everywhere around it is kind of rural but near there is a subway, I think you can take it to xi an.
