Santa Cruz Chapel is an important part of the city’s historical heritage, opened originally in 1946 and recently extensively restored. The chapel was erected with the help and cooperation of local residents, who financed the construction using their private funds. It was the very first church built in the urban area of Maringa, and has remained a favorite wedding location for young couples living in the city. The chapel features paintings and sacred images, some of which were imported from Spain. Make this historic site a brief but mandatory stop on your tour of the region to learn about the city’s rich cultural, artistic, and religious heritage. Historical relic. In well-built wood with careful craftsmanship. Currently under renovation
-
Beautiful on the outside, inside you can't tell, because it's closed for restoration.
