Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary reviews
Cruising up the river was a great way to arrive at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary. The walk up from the dock tests the legs but the magic of seeing the animals soon takes over. Apart from the animals in... more »

If you are looking for a great place to see Koala’s, this is it! Location is not far from Brisbane main city and staff are friendly. Very busy on weekends and holidays. You can purchase tickets on line for discount prices. Lots of Koala’s to view. You can get very close to them and pay extra to hold them. Also have other Australian animals like birds or prey and dog shows. However, Koala’s are the main attraction. Recommend coming when they are being fed, around 1pm, as they are very active. Great day out and would recommend for families.
Lovely place to spend an hour or two. The koalas are so cute. You could take a pic with them (25 $). The best part of the park is feeding the Kangaroos. This is an adorable exercise. It's great to watch a bird show and also the dogs at the sheep ranch. The specially trained dogs put on a beautiful show of rounding up the sheep and herding them towards a specific place . The souvenir shop is cute with it's display of gift items. A special thanks to all the staff who run this place. Your dedication is awesome. Overall a lovely experience. A must when you are in Brisbane.
