The Park is called Yerba Buena in honor of San Francisco, since this was your name at the time the city was part of the territory called High California, still under the domain of Mexico until 1846. The Yerba Buena Gardens is a beautiful place and modern, located between the streets Third, Fouth, Mission and Folsom, in downtown San Francisco. The cool thing is also that he is close to other sights of the city such as the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Mango restaurant, notable for the gay audience that marks presence over there. What's great is that the Yerba Buena Gardens has an interesting contrast with the architecture to your surroundings, which is full of buildings and don't mind if seeing people having sex in the middle of the park or smoking pot, as this is something understood as normal there. If you are scheduling vacation spot in San Francisco, so be sure to visit the Yerba Buena Park. Take the opportunity to take many pictures, rest after a long walk and stop by in the historic St. Patrick's Church, which is also very charming and special. If it is light your cigarette smoke weed, and travel in the Park.
I always see the Yerba Buena staff walking the grounds and being very polite with patrons. The shows and conferences in the park are always well produced. A few months ago I actually performed at the Yerba Buena Gardens and had an amazing experience!
Great place to hangout solo or with friends or with the family. Slight hills, clean and fresh cut grass, or if you prefer plenty of benches all the way around. Most of the time people are taking a nap, reading or people watching. But unfortunately dogs are not allowed in and around.
