A Leave No Trace park, encompassing nearly 16 acres, Mission Dolores Park is one of San Francisco’s most popular destinations, the vibrant heart of its equally vibrant, culturally diverse neighborhood. Here you’ll find lush green lawns shaded by tall palm trees, a soccer field, six tennis courts, one basketball court, a multi-use court, a playground, and two off-leash dog play areas. Yes. Many festivals, performances, and other cultural events are held here, and on sunny afternoons people flock to the park to play, picnic, lounge, walk their dogs, and enjoy spectacular views of the city’s skyline and beyond. To visit Mission Dolores Park and get the most from your holiday in San Francisco, create itinerary details personal to you using our San Francisco online day trip planner .

Aloha! A most beautiful park overseeing the city of San Francisco. Lots of places for the kids to play. Slide, Swings and climbing areas galore. Plenty of grassy spots to hang out. Totally awesome spot. Restrooms very clean for a public park.
I love Dolores Park. It is one of the best parks to hang out and have a great time. You can go for a walk or have a picnic or take the kids to the playground. Or just lay on a blanket and bask in the sunshine. I went to Mission High so it was our place to have lunch. No matter what you do it's a great place to be.
