  • We had a wonderful day. So much to do and see and fun for all ages. Would highly recommend for families or anyone really. A must do in San Francisco!  more »
  • Cool themed areas also for children who can't speak English. A lot of things can be touched and groped - ideal for children. It's not quite cheap but worth it. Arrival by taxi recommended. Planetarium and tropical part is impressive. A must is the earthquake simulator.

  • The California Academy of Sciences is a great place to take the family. It is located at Golden Gate Park where you can spend a few days and still not see it all. The Academy is pricey so plan on making the most of it by staying there all day. The cafe is not too price for lunch. The rain forest with it's free flying birds and butterflies is amazing. The Planetarium show is very relaxing and informative and FREE. The California coast exhibit is also very good.
  • Probably one of the coolest places in San Francisco! So much to see no matter what you're interested in. I would particularly recommend the Night Life Experience on a Thursday Evening. It attracts a large crowd and its 21+. They're currently running 'A Tour of the Universe' in the Planetarium and its honestly the best tour through the universe I've ever seen! The host is a dude also and made the experience even better!
