Magic Kingdom Park, Orlando

4.3
Hosting nearly 20 million guests each year, Magic Kingdom Park ranks among the most-visited theme parks in the world. Part of the world's biggest amusement park, which covers a vast area twice as large as Manhattan, this theme park is dedicated to fairy tales and Disney characters. The park's centerpiece is a replica of a fairy-tale castle from the 1950s' film "Cinderella." Six magical lands surround the castle, featuring boat and roller coaster rides, games, jungle cruises, train adventures, shooting arcades, and stage shows. Explore the themed lands of this wheel-shaped venue using Cinderella's castle as your hub. A narrow-gauge railroad runs along the park's perimeter and provides an excellent overview of the park before you start exploring. • The parade was the highlight for me here as it had all of the older Disney characters that I had grown up with. The park is one the busiest at Disney and very much caters for families and children. Re...  more »
  • Disappointing! Mickey Merry Christmas Party is a party that takes place in the Magic Kingdom whose tickets are purchased for as little as part of U $100.00 per person. I went yesterday, 04.12.2018, and because it is Disney, had high expectations. The show was the presentation of two musicals in front of Cinderella's Castle, with a Beautiful play of light which gives a cool effect, and then a parade with all the characters. The show is pretty good, but it wasn't worth the investment, and the expected result. The duration of the whole show is not even 2 hours and my children (a boy and a girl of 9 4) found it pretty boring. The daughter of a friend slept during the presentation. Anyway, I was expecting a lot, but more than I saw. Not recommend!!

  • We have not been in a few years, and had very fond memories of Disney. But our recent trip, too crowded, too long waits and the magic is missing. The new fast pass system has created a bottleneck of p...  more »

  • My favorite place. Miraculously clean, excellent and kind service. A sense of wonder will encapsulate you as you walk down Main Street or marvel at Cinderella Castle. If you go once you will be wanting to come back again soon. Magic kingdom is a place where you can feel like a kid again. Some of the best rides are here, like space mountain and the mine train. Definitely my favorite of all the parks! Can’t wait until I can return.
  • Great for kids under 7. Best part was the parade and the one roller coaster ride I got on. Boat ride closed as soon as we approached. Everything is way over priced. I have more fun at the theme park in Texas in my home town. It was a bitter sweet experience. Cut the vacation 3 days early. The weather was nice!
  • Wonderful family place. In this park there is ample shade to get some relief from the sun. Food vendors are a bit pricey and have a limited menu for quick bites. If you pay the price for a sit down meal, though, you will not be disappointed. The food is good and they bring as much as you want. The park has rides to accommodate all ages and the technology that goes into the designs and the rides is phenomenal. Little ones and thrill seekers alike are sure to find what they're looking for here. I would highly recommend utilizing the Fast Pass option. It's the difference between waiting 10 minutes to get on a ride as opposed to 90 minutes or better. Just don't forget the sun screen and rain ponchos.
  • Can't deny Disney. The biggest downer is the wait for the popular rides, but if you can utilize and optimize the fast passes, life saver! The tickets are pricey, but they have expenses.... Yes, the Dole Whip Floats are the best. The other quick service foods are quick service, pricey, but those are the park prices so be aware that it's not the dollar value menu. Get the photo pass because the are designated vested photo pass photographers throughout the park taking photos and some with "magic, " so remember to see if they have any magic photos and with a swipe of a magic hand, your photos appear in your account! If you want to use a magic band because ones not provided, buy online before you because in the parks, it'll cost you almost $10 more! Save the money for the Dole Whip! Best fireworks show yet! Try to sit in the middle of the front stage area. People get crazy cozy to get a spot so guard your space and all will be magical with a happy ending. To really enjoy Magic Kingdom, allow at least 2 days of not more. I'm no Disney Pro, but a few things that stand out. When it sprinkles, don't fear, stay in line... if it rains, don't fear, get a poncho out and stay in line, many will take refuge. Don't fear the rain, embrace it for the line will shorten!
  • Aside from the crowds (which you can NEVER avoid- although it was not too crowded at all!) and the heat... OF COURSE this place is amazing! Love riding the rides, live the look of Main Street USA (especially at night). This truly is a magical place! Cinderella's castle is amazing and the fireworks show and lighting/graphics on the castle are something that CAN NOT BE MISSED!! We've loved bringing the kids, but also love coming just as an adult couple. Truly spectacular!
