See the exotic species, marvel at the butterfly exhibit, and enjoy the botanical garden at Oklahoma City Zoo. Along with animals from all over the world like tigers, elephants, and giraffes, the zoo hosts a wide selection of species native to Oklahoma, from bears and alligators, to birds and bats. You can walk around, hop on one of the train rides, or take a boat tour on Zoo Lake. The zoo especially focuses on opportunities for children to learn about wildlife while playing and interacting with the animals. During the hot summer months, a lot of the activities include splashing water, so consider bringing a spare set of clothes for the kids. Oklahoma City Zoo Reviews

Worth visiting with kids. But i perfonally dont recommend this for adults, because there isnt anything for them. Kids would definetly feel excited. more »
The Oklahoma City Zoo was a good area. There was a variety of animals and a nice background to them. The place itself was taken care of and the museum areas and hospital areas were very nice it seemed. The food was good at the chicken area, it was made very good and I had no problems there. Not too many people but there wasn't a whole lot of animals like Tiger's and exotic animals they all seemed to be put away. Overall experience was enjoyed though.
We have been loyal Zoo Friends members for quite a few years and absolutely love coming to the zoo. They have fun and exciting events throughout the year to help change things up and get you in with a different feeling. My son loves trick or treating here around Halloween. The Ostrich Egg Breakfast, while jam packed with guests, is still very fun and very good food. If you have a child interested in animals at all send them to Zoo Camp/Zoo School. It's pricey, but well worth the price. Kids have an absollutely fantastic time.
