  • Glad we stopped here on our Route 66 Road Trip. Enjoyed viewing the buildings and learning about the homestead. Seems to be visited often by school groups and there was one there during our visit.  more »

  • This is a very interesting place especially since it's located right in the heart of the state Capitol! All the buildings are from different parts of Oklahoma and have a story behind them. The staff is excellent and the school master plays his part exceedingly well! 😂 Children get to have a very small taste of what it would have been like to live in the 1900's. Definitely an experience all should have!
  • Just a few block south of the Oklahoma State Capitol steps sits a homestead own by the Harn family who actually donated the land for the Capitol building. Great old home and barns. Once a working farm right where it sits. Great venue for group outings and picnics. Beautiful well maintained grounds.
