Bricktown Brewery, Oklahoma City

3.9
#1 of 7 in Breweries & Distilleries in Oklahoma
In November 1992, the Bricktown Brewery opened its doors, ushering in a new golden age of urban dining to the OKC scene. The building which Bricktown Brewery calls home was once a candy factory, and they say that ghosts of the Oompa-Loompas who are buried in the basement haunt guests who don’t leave a good tip. So be aware, and act accordingly.

Life tastes better with bacon. If that’s not on a t-shirt then it should be, ‘cause that’s what we believe at Bricktown Brewery. And as “The Oklahoma Original,” we also believe in supporting our fellow local businesses. So, on our building and on our menu, you’ll see the "MIO: Made In Oklahoma" logo which denotes a ton of great dishes made with local ingredients, and a whole lotta bacon.

Our Beers:

* Old King Kölsch

* Wiley One-Eyed Wheat

* Remington Red

* 46 Star Oklahoman Amber Ale

* Bricktown Brown

  • Buffalo wings with Anchor Bar sauce were excellent. Turkey guacamole club was overdone. Cobb salad with house vinaigrette dressing was excellent. Craft beers were okay - nothing special.  more »
  • Location wise this place is great! Lots of beer choices and decent food. I had the club sandwich and it was huge! Must try their sweet peppered bacon  more »

  • Good food and a better location then the Remington Park Casino location. The waiter constantly refills glasses with water to include putting water in a half full glass of Sierra Mist. Then wouldn't bring a new glass of Sierra Mist when informed it was Sierra Mist. And continued to try to add more water to the soda when informed multiple times it wasn't water. The Salads are good but you have to cut up the additional ingredients yourself since the chunks are way to large to fit in your mouth.
  • We went to the Brick Town Brewery to celebrate Father's Day. We ordered avocado fries as an appetizer. I was disappointed because they did not have much flavor. They need to be spruced up with some spice such as garlic etc. I wouldn't order them again. For the entree, I ordered a chicken fried chicken steak along with mashed potatoes and green beans. The chicken fried steak was pretty good. It did need a little more flavor as did the mashed potatoes. Overall, I would give them a B on the grade scale. The green beans were actually good. They would get an "A" The service was good. The restaurant was nice and in a great location.
