I had never been here before attending a performance a few months ago of "I hear You and Rejoice", a one man show by Mikel Murfi, which was fabulous. The Center is a multi-artistic venue with performance (music, dance and theater), visual arts and education focus. I had never heard of the Center before attending the play, and confused it with the Irish Rep. (Almost went to the wrong place!) We had a wonderful evening and looking at the other offerings, I expect to attend more events.
I’ve been here couple times for stand-up show. The show itself was quite good, really funny, show hosts are very positive, open and merry. The theatre itself is quite old, chairs are not so modern and comfortable, very littel space between them, and it is small. Stage is very simple and has no additional decoration, just old carpet on the floor.
