  • Neighborhood that I loved for its typically New York look particularly lively in the evening for its countless typical quaint areas. The buildings and streets while not being particularly cared for remained in my heart. To call it a punk district seems exaggerated, certainly alternative, genuine and fortunately still not overly conditioned and contaminated by mass tourism. You have the pleasure of seeing several out of your mind and local "scrausi" without feeling in danger, not to mention the smells that at first glance repulse you and then you miss...... and buildings with the external fire escapes in iron.... pure poetry....
