Turner Falls Park, Davis

#1 of 8 in Things to do in Davis
Enjoy a hike and a swim at Turner Falls Park. Two trails lead to the base of the falls and the pool at Honey Creek. The 6.1 sq km (1,500 acre) park features several more paths that guide you past rock formations, caves, and thick forest growth. Take the trail that passes a castle built in the 1930s, and explore inside its stone walls. At the falls, relax on the benches or take a dip in the pool. Remember to bring your swimsuit and sunscreen. • Turner Falls is one of Oklahoma's most treasured places. This place is perfect for anyone who loves to be outdoors and swim. Of coarse, there is the falls and many creeks that you can wade/swim in. There is an area with diving boards and slides. There are also hiking trails and caves to explore. If you hike up certain trails near the falls, you will come across parts of a castle that was built long ago as a summer home. Turner falls is a beautiful place and offers many outdoor adventures.
  • Went here when we were younger and I liked that version much better. The park has lost a lot if its natural beauty but its still really nice. The admission price is too expensive. I would recommend viewing the park from the scenic overlook for free because the waterfall is the prettiest part and then go to Chickasaw Nature Area or Lake Murray both are free and much nicer.
