  • We came on Thanksgiving. Good day to come. Not much crowd at all. The mummy exhibit was really cool. Also the dinosaurs. We have two children, 11 and 8. They thought it was ‘okay’. I think they would ...  more »

  • The quality of the exhibits here are very good! They do have a lot of exhibits but most of them didn't really interest me. We did absolutely love the Egypt exhibit, the dinosaurs, and the traveling mummy exhibit. The 3D show "Museum Alive" was cute and very well made. The bathrooms were immaculately clean. What made me rate only three stars was how extremely expensive everything in the museum was and how quickly we got through the entire museum.
  • Decent museum, lots to see the and the exhibits seem well put together. However, general admission was pretty expensive and most of the exhibits are only accessible by paying additional fees. If you wanted to see everything you better be prepared to spend upwards of $100 per person. This is a sad money grab and frankly ridiculous. All exhibits should be included in the price of admission. There are several other museums in major cities that include all exhibits with the price of admission and offer better displays. They also take items from the general exhibits and put them in the extra cost exhibits to make you pay more for things that should already be available for viewing with your ticket. That's just wrong. Toronto and New York offer a far superior experience.
  • An incredibly huge museum with lots of exciting creatures to explore. We loved the evolution exhibit showing how creatures on earth have changed over time. The mummy tomb was also quite remarkable and just before close we wandered in there unknowingly because no one was there checking tickets (we only had the basic admission). The lawn to right of the museum entrance is great for a picnic in the shade of the big trees. If you need to pee before waiting in the admission line with the children there aren't any bathrooms in the lobby but there are port-a-potties outside on the patio and the lawn.
  • Wonderful museum! A bit pricey for general admission $24, however, exhibits were extremely thorough and put together very well. Research, chronology, and information was enlightening. I only visited the exhibit about the American natives. Took me almost 3hrs, but I was very deliberate and attentive to every aspect of research and education. I, personally, could not have visited the entire museum in one day. (Which is a positive aspect IMO) 😊
  • An incredible experience. Loved visiting a place that offered so much unique history to any other museum I've been too. So interesting to learn about the history of the Pacific Northwest, Native American culture, as well as the Mayan and Aztec civilizations. Of course the mummies and the dinosaurs were a huge hit with us! Tickets are pricey so plan to make a full day of it to make the most of the experience!
