  Place of recollection for the combatants who died in this battle, but also a site to better understand the war between the Scottish clans and the English. A must-see during a visit through Inverness and its area.

  I walked it for free but I knew a lot about Culloden already but I would recommend a tour because it would be absolutely extraordinary listening from a Scottish persons point of view of the battle. Interesting little stories you don't know about will be told. It's also an enjoyable walk but it's just crazy to think so many Scots died on the spot you were walking.

  Great historical place with a lot of atmosphere. Very educational. We had a beautiful day. The museum and gift shop are nice as well. Inside the shop you will find high quality items like scarves and jewelry, as well as books and some whiskey. The parking outside the main building is free too.
