Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
On the 13th (Tue), contemplate the long history of Casa Batlló, admire the landmark architecture of La Sagrada Familia, then stroll through Park Güell, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Nova Mar Bella Beach. On your second day here, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Barcelona Cathedral, appreciate the history behind El Cafè de la Pedrera, then examine the collection at Museu Nacional d'Art de Catalunya - MNAC, and finally take a stroll through El Barri Gòtic.

Considered a cultural, artistic, and architectural jewel of Italy, Florence is the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.
Start off your visit on the 15th (Thu): see the interesting displays at Galleria dell'Accademia, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, and then make a trip to Piazzale Michelangelo. On the 16th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in nature's colorful creations at The Boboli Gardens, admire the masterpieces at Pitti Palace, and then see the interesting displays at Uffizi Gallery.

Traveling by flight from Barcelona to Florence takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a train. When traveling from Barcelona in June, plan for a bit warmer days in Florence, with highs around 84°F, while nights are a bit cooler with lows around 61°F. Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
On the 18th (Sun), admire the masterpieces at Borghese Gallery, steep yourself in history at Palatine Hill, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona, and finally admire the striking features of Pantheon. Keep things going the next day: pause for some serene contemplation at St. Peter's Basilica, then admire the striking features of Vatican Museums, and then admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain.

Traveling by train from Florence to Rome takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of flight and train.
