New York City, USA to Seoul is an approximately 18-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or do a combination of train, subway, bus, and flight. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time to Korea Standard Time is 14 hours. In June in Seoul, expect temperatures between 82°F during the day and 67°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Thu) so you can drive to Chuncheon.

Take a break from Busan with a short trip to Oedo Botania in Geoje, about 1h 45 min away. There's lots more to do: head outdoors with Haeundae Beach, hunt for treasures at Jagalchi Market, get great views at Taejongdae, and don't miss a visit to Gwangandaegyo Bridge.

When traveling from Gyeongju in August, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Busan: temperatures range from 87°F by day to 74°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) early enough to travel to Daejeon.
