Founded in the 10th century as a Viking fishing village, Copenhagen has morphed into the cultural, political, and economic powerhouse of the country.
Relax by the water at Gudmindrup Beach and Bureso. Get a sense of the local culture at Frederiksborg Castle and Roskilde Cathedral. Take a break from Copenhagen with a short trip to Eskebjerg Vesterlyng in Eskebjerg, about 1h 30 min away.
