Take a break from Le Lavandou with a short trip to Plage de Gigaro in La Croix-Valmer, about 44 minutes away. Cassis is a commune situated east of Marseille in the department of Bouches-du-Rhône in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southern France.It is a popular tourist destination, famous for its cliffs (falaises) and the sheltered inlets called calanques. Explore Cassis' surroundings by going to Plage du Pradeau (in Giens), Le Bois des Lutins (in Peypin) and Hyeres (Plage La Capte & Plage noire du Langoustier).
