Torrevieja is a seaside city and municipality located on the Costa Blanca in the province of Alacant, in south Valencian Country. Get out of town with these interesting Torrevieja side-trips: Isla de Tabarca (in Santa Pola) and Elche (Basilica de Santa Maria & Jardín Huerto del Cura). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at La Mata Beach, explore the historical opulence of Castell de Guardamar, walk around Parque de Las Naciones, and browse the different shops at Zenia Boulevard.
