A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Visit Île de la Cité and Montmartre for their historical value. Shop till you drop at Le Marais and Saint Germain des Pres Quarter. Change things up with these side-trips from Paris: Palace of Versailles (in Versailles), Chateau de Fontainebleau (in Fontainebleau) and Disneyland Paris (in Marne-la-Vallee). You'll discover tucked-away gems like Parc des Felins and La Tour Cesar. Head to Galleria Continua and Le Roy Lirefor some retail therapy. Get out of town with these interesting Provins side-trips: Chateau de Vaux-le-Vicomte (in Maincy), Eglise Notre Dame de Pitie (in Flagy) and Parc des Capucins (in Coulommiers).
