Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Canal Grande as well as Piazza San Marco. On the 4th (Sat), snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, and then wander the streets of Campo del Ghetto.
