Museum-lovers will appreciate Vatican Museums and Galleria Borghese. Colosseum and Piazza Navona will appeal to history buffs. There's lots more to do: explore the ancient world of Palatine Hill, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Pantheon, admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, and steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica.

On the 29th (Sun), appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza San Marco, snap pictures at Ponte dei Sospiri, examine the collection at Doge's Palace, admire the striking features of Basilica di San Marco, then snap pictures at Ponte di Rialto, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica dei Santi Giovanni e Paolo (San Zanipolo).
