Elephant Nature Park Reviews
So, before going to ENP, we actually did a lot of research to find the most ethical place to see elephants. After seeing a lot of reviews hyping this place, we decided to go and I cannot recommend thi... more »

If you’re looking for a truly elephant- friendly experience, then I highly recommend this experience. They follow a schedule based on what the elephants want, not the tourists or mahouts. There are also water buffalo and hundreds of cats and dogs. We were able to feed one Elephant and walk around others to observe. A bit like Jurassic Park in the sense that it’s an open zoo type feeling. The park is very crowded, so if you’re looking for an intimate experience I wouldn’t go here. But out tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Clearly this park is the most humane in the area in that your interaction is limited and controlled for the benefits of the elephants
What an awesome experience. Anyone thinking of spending time with elephants should go with this place. I spent considerable time doing research on all of the reserves that were available and this was one of the best. There are so many out there claiming to be ethical and animal friendly, which are just not true. Places like the Elephant Nature park genuinely are - the elephants aren’t forced into doing anything they don’t want to do and seem genuinely happy to interact with humans (albeit with the benefit of us having food!) Their handlers are with them every day and has no whips, hooks, chains or other ways of coercion. During the day, you get the chance to learn a lot about them and get as close as you feel comfortable. If our experience is anything to go by, at the end of the day you will feel really at ease with them around you. Thank you to all of the team for helping make our day so great!
