  • Happened to be in Bangkok on a Saturday and was encouraged to go to this market. Our tour guide told us it was the largest in the world. It was a quick trip on the subway to the market. But I didn’t f...  more »
  • We went on a Sunday and it was so busy and hot. You'll need all day to cover the entire market. My daughter was able to find some really cute clothes that are similar in styles that are sold in expens...  more »

  • I love this market so so much I have no better words to express it other than "love". So much interesting stalls around, very clean and easy to navigate. The planning of the market were really great, I can find my way very easily because there are sign boards above the stalls to indicate which section am I at. My family and I enjoyed our entire afternoon shopping in the market. Definitely recommend everyone and anyone to go there! Just remember to get a map from the information counter or else you are going to miss out the entire section at the back (if you are like me who aren't good at exploring).
  • One of the biggest markets in the world. It is highly recommended to go there with someone local at the first time. You may get lost very easily. As far I'm aware market is open only over the weekend. If you are looking for any souvenirs just before you back from holiday this is perfect place! There is absolutely everything you can imagine! From food, home equipment, garden furniture, knifes clothes to live animals. Best book all day for it. Good luck.
  • Really nice market. Some amazing products and sales people. Some unique items, others which are everywhere. But really nice to walk through, stands are pleasant and generally well kept. Id recommend a visit to this place, tourists and locals. Good food, nice vibe, and didn’t have any issues with pickpockets etc. Prices are negotiable, but nearly won’t discount too much from listed prices. Good place, recommend
  • Love this market!! It is GIGANTIC, with both indoor areas and outdoor. Spent a good 7/8 hours here and only probably covered a small portion. Sells literally everything and anything here, from clothes to snacks to street food to pets to luggage to tattoos to haircuts. Totally insane but a great place to shop and buy souvenirs. Buy a luggage here and then start shopping so you don’t have to carry so much stuff 😂
  • We visited Chatuchak market during the weekend, on Sunday. We came little before 9 and it was really good decision. Way less people and not too hot. You don´t need to be in such a crowd. Don´t hesitate to negotiate if they see you are leaving they might still go lower. If you don´t get it for the price you wanted, do not worry, there are about the same 5 stores in every corner. Eventually you realize except couple things the stuff are repeating. Fun to experience.
