  This watchmaking atelier of an independent family-owned brand was a great experience to discover in Zurich. In contrast to the big watch brands shops on the high street, this place is very "down to earth", warm and welcoming. I've got to see and learn different aspects of the watchmaking process (and see watches from up close and not through an armoured glass) I ended up spending there an hour, talking to Daniel Dreifuss (the brands' founder) and his son Leo, who shared with me their passion for watches. Although I wasn't able to take one, I was happy to learn about the possibility to take a watchmaking course in their atelier. Perhaps next time.
