A rather long and narrow city spread along both sides of the Weser River, Bremen has more than a thousand years of history.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Sun): get to know the fascinating history of Historische Altstadt, ponder the world of politics at Bremen Town Hall (Rathaus), make a trip to Marktplatz, admire the masterpieces at Kunsthalle Bremen, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Peter's Cathedral (St. Petri Dom), and finally make a trip to Schnoor Viertel.
