Queensland’s biggest town and state capital, Brisbane has an attractive, manicured image based around its riverside aesthetic as well as the contrast between its high-rise center and extensive urban greenery.
Step out of Brisbane with an excursion to Sea World Theme Park in Main Beach--about 1h 40 min away. There's lots more to do: enjoy some diversion at South Bank Parklands, admire the natural beauty at Roma Street Parkland, admire all the interesting features of Suncorp Stadium, and get great views at Mount Coot-tha Lookout.

Cape Tribulation


A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
