Kick off your visit on the 10th (Thu): explore the world behind art at Alte Pinakothek, explore the historical opulence of Nymphenburg Palace (Schloss Nymphenburg), and then examine the collection at BMW Welt.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Kick off your visit on the 11th (Fri): steep yourself in history at Ponte dei Sospiri, see the interesting displays at Doges' Palace, and then get to know the fascinating history of St. Mark's Square. On the 12th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Campo del Ghetto, browse the exhibits of Peggy Guggenheim Collection, then pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, then explore the activities along Canal Grande, and finally explore the world behind art at Gallerie dell'Accademia.

Getting from Munich to Venice by combination of train and flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a train. Traveling from Munich in August, things will get a bit warmer in Venice: highs are around 83°F and lows about 67°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Sun) early enough to travel to Rome.

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Palatine Hill and Colosseum. Appreciate the collections at Vatican Museums and Borghese Gallery. Traveling by combination of flight and train from Venice to Rome takes 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. While traveling from Venice, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Rome, ranging from highs of 90°F to lows of 68°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Wed) early enough to travel to Versailles.

Renowned for its vast royal palace and gardens built by King Louis XIV, Versailles is also one of the wealthiest suburbs of Paris and home to a new cultural notability, such as a thriving artistic and musical scene.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Wed): make a trip to Hotel de Ville, contemplate the long history of Temple de l'Amour, and then admire the landmark architecture of The Trianons & The Hamlet.

Do a combination of train and flight from Rome to Versailles in 5.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. Traveling from Rome in August, things will get a bit cooler in Versailles: highs are around 75°F and lows about 56°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Paris.

A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
