  • My family and I took advantage of this beautiful day and went to the pools and playground at the botanical Gardens. Safe to say son absolutely had a blast. Very suitable and family friendly plus very accessible (for wheelchair use)
  • One of Christchurchs jewels would be the Botanical Gardens during spring and summertime. They have easygoing walking tracks interweaving throughout suitable for all ages and mobility including all wheelchairs, pushchairs or strollers. An excellent cafe and playground are in the grounds. The cafe has great service but if you want or expect budget food best go somewhere else, in saying that our coffee and scone was reasonably priced. Good car parking and public toilets available.
