Dopo aver visitato i più famosi musei d'Europa ci si rende conto che il patrimonio artistico in visione alla Galleria degli Uffizi non ha paragoni e sovrasta di gran lunga la concorrenza francese, spa... more »After visiting the most famous museums of Europe one realises that the artistic vision of the Uffizi is unmatched and surpasses by far the competition French, Spanish, English, German. The masterpieces that can be admired in the Uffizi deserve to be seen and reviewed more than once in their lifetime. If Florence is considered the world capital of art and culture a good part of the credit goes ascribed to priceless masterpieces on display in theaters from works by Titian, Raphael, Botticelli, Giotto, Caravaggio and many others. Although in the world the Uffizi is positioned just 20th place this can be charged to the fact that for decades politicians have considered culture, art, tourism, as a secondary resource unable to generate well-being and public benefits. With the opening to the public of the Vasari corridor you can see another Italian cultural wealth.
One of the best museum. Full of the world's masterpieces. Lay people with some little interest in history and art can enjoy their time. Beauty is for everyone. BTW knowing of a short history or taking guided tour can improve your experience even more. Better reserve the ticket beforehand and the fast pass as well to only spend more time and energy admiring the art. Gonna be a long day here but it's worth it.
The gallery is a very special place, packed with full sized original paintings of all your favourite Christmas cards! Every new room reveals yet more beautiful treasures. It really is a must to visit - but be sure to buy your ticket online and print it out and take with you, to avoid the long entrance queues.
