Charlottenburg Palace, Berlin

4.2
Discover fine Baroque and Rococo architecture at Charlottenburg Palace, the largest palace in Berlin. One of the city's most iconic landmarks, the 17th-century palace sits on an estate framed by large formal gardens, a belvedere, and mausoleum. Tour the palace's royal apartments to view an extensive collection of 18th-century French paintings and fine porcelain. Outside, you can wander through the Baroque-style landscaped courtyards. You may only take photographs inside the palace if you purchase of a permit at the entrance. Ask Inspirock to suggest an itinerary and make planning a trip to Berlin fast, fun, and easy.

  • Initially did not plan to visit the palace of Charlottenburg, but still decided and did not regret it. The grounds of the palace complex are huge, very well-groomed and beautiful, there is a large pond in which swans and ducks swim. The palace itself is a model of German architecture, without any frills and excessive luxury. The entrance to the museum complex is free, the palace itself is purely symbolic. I think that when I visit Berlin again I will come here again.

  • It is one of the three Palaces, which are interconnected in a large park in Postdam. Which with its neoclassical style contributes to the beauty and historical interest of the area

  • The palace is another level of beautiful. It is gigantic and majestic. You can learn about it's history inside or just enjoy it's fantastic architecture and the garden on the back as well. The flowers, the lake, the swans... it just makes the palace unique. One of the must see sights in Berlin. It takes about half an hour, 40 minutes with a 50cc scooter to get there.
  • Best place i ever been to. So peaceful and quiet at the morning. Beautiful garden/park at the back, really fine looking. You can go there for a morning run, it's gorgeous there. If you're first time to Berlin you definitely need to visit this place.
