Zadkine Museum is the house of the Russian sculptor, Ossip Zadkine, and serves as a museum for many popular artistic pieces. The exhibitions in the studio and in the garden show you more than a hundred of the sculptor’s works. All periods of the creations, from the primitive to the last abstract years, are displayed.

The museum was renovated in 2012 to ensure its accessibility, and it re-opened its doors for its 30th anniversary in October 2012. Its new museography was designed to more closely reflect to you the spirit of the workshop. • This little-known Parisian museum is exciting and offers exceptional exhibitions. Nevertheless, it deserves to be renovated and the number of works on display is too large for the surface of the place.

  • In the 6th arrondissement of Paris, almost opposite the magnificent Luxembourg Garden, there is a little-known museum, the Zadkine Museum. It is located exactly 100bis street of Assas. This house, surrounded by a perfectly manicured garden, was inhabited by the Russian sculptor Ossip Zadkine from 1928 until his death in 1967. He bequeathed this ensemble comprising his studio to the City of Paris with a mission to make it a museum, with his works (sculptures and works of paper). It should be remembered that O.Zadkine was one of the first sculptors to apply the theories of the Cubist school to sculpture

  • Intimate and warm. The sculptures in his studio and the small garden make this a museum you can take your time in and still be done in under 3 hours. Highly recommend!
  • A lovely, free museum of zadkine sculptor works with a beautiful picket garden! The former workshop of the artist turned into a little museum that is worth a visit to see his work, enjoy the garden and all for free!!! A must stop if the area. It can be visited in about 15 to 45 minutes.
