*The Best Entertainment in the City. No Language Barrier*

Let us tell you a story about a man named Sam...

Sam was an Australian, and like many of us, delighted by all things "Parisian" since he was a little kid. So like any good 'francophile' would, he packed his bags and moved to Paris!

He even moved in with a French man named Carl. While Carl was off doing typical Parisian things- drinking wine, eating baguettes, wearing berets, and most importantly, going to the theatre, Sam was stuck in Australian bars, with Australian people, and drinking Australian beer like most tourists and expats, since the beautiful French language is rather difficult to master.

Luckily, Carl, contrary to what you might believe, is a welcoming, open-minded French person! He wanted to include his English speaking friend in his favourite Parisian activities.

Thus was born the dream of Theatre in Paris: rendering France's vibrant, Broadway-quality theatre scene accessible to everyone!

  • Dedicated to musicals (in the Broadway style), inaugurated in 1919, this theatre celebrates its 100th anniversary. This is where Mistinguett enjoyed success ... Great to visit on Heritage Days! Beautiful frescoes and gilding: a must-see!

  • A great show even if the songs in French are not great! We find the script of the film and the staging is very good! A special mention to Claudia Tagbo who breaks the stage!

  • Basically, I'm not keen on musicals but being in Paris when Cats was running I decided to attend. I enjoyed very much the show as well as the venue. This is a nice and cosy theatre, keeping an hint of past "luxury" which certainly adds to the warm atmosphere.
  • Went for Chicago the musical and I had a good time. I loved how they made the orchestra part of the show and the conductor was really funny and talented. Nice theatre, good service
