Let us tell you a story about a man named Sam...
Sam was an Australian, and like many of us, delighted by all things "Parisian" since he was a little kid. So like any good 'francophile' would, he packed his bags and moved to Paris!
He even moved in with a French man named Carl. While Carl was off doing typical Parisian things- drinking wine, eating baguettes, wearing berets, and most importantly, going to the theatre, Sam was stuck in Australian bars, with Australian people, and drinking Australian beer like most tourists and expats, since the beautiful French language is rather difficult to master.
Luckily, Carl, contrary to what you might believe, is a welcoming, open-minded French person! He wanted to include his English speaking friend in his favourite Parisian activities.
Thus was born the dream of Theatre in Paris: rendering France's vibrant, Broadway-quality theatre scene accessible to everyone!

This is the case at the reception, which is paramount. On the other hand, it is very cold in the room, the seats are not comfortable. As for the toilets, I advise against them..... We feel that the money comes back little. So it's paradoxical but I would say: run it. It will always be nicer than a large sanitized complex.
On a rather « lively » street as someone’s grandmother would say, and the ambiance inside is a reprieve. Very calm and quiet inside and to echo what others have already said, a great selection of non-commercial movies. I’ve seen private screenings here and foreign (Canadian) films. Would highly recommend for lovers of film.
It's a place to be .so calm and cool
