  • The banks of the Seine on the central part of Paris, are only a good idea of ballad. We also have a different view of Paris on the theme of the activities around the river. There are our exceptional and very Parisian booksellers, that sell everything that revolves around books and souvenirs. They are installed in small chests displays in standard wood, hung on the parapet of the dock. The sellers are often installed on folding chairs on the sidewalk. Course you need to haggle, because it spices up the purchase and it allows contacts sometimes, rich and interesting! Traffic on the Seine, which is close to this place, lets see what happens seen from above! Apart from these bookstores, you will find many places of Paris history pass by your eyes, with a striking compendium, through prestigious as places: our Lady of Paris, the île de la Cité, place of the ancient Paris, bridges between the il e and the two banks that span the Seine, none of which is similar to the others, each with its often turbulent history. Upstream of the city island lies a gem of Parisian life, Ile Saint Louis with its old streets and buildings of style. Right bank we can discover, the City Hall and further, the place du Châtelet. The left bank area in front of Notre Dame, still has very ancient narrow streets, with its old houses, its traditional shops and its prestigious buildings, such as the Church and the cloister St. Severin. Then continuing your visit to the West, you will see historic sites on the island of the city, as the Holy Chapel, which dates back to St. Louis, the medieval castle of the Concierge with its towers and its decorated wall clock. If you take left bank and right to return Bank, you will have the scope of what can be seen more beautiful in Paris with amazing opportunities, and as setting the Seine in all its aspects. The Louvre, which extends over the right bank looks with in the foreground barges moored on the docks to also visit closer to River. The quai Conti, with frame in the Pont Neuf, oldest bridge in Paris, the square of the gallant green on the Western tip of the island and its beautiful old sailboats moored on the edges of the dock, are a very romantic and unforgettable. Further, you can enjoy a stroll along the pedestrian bridge of the Arts, in front of the Institute of France, continuing to the Musée d'Orsay in its framework of old station of the 19 th century. Side right bank, the beautiful garden of the Tuileries offers you a haven of rest and shading in summer. The place of the Concorde, which then appears with its Obelisk, its thematic fountains and its prestigious style buildings, worth a stop, as a bonus, the perspective of the Champs Elysées. If you continue right bank, taking the path of the docks, under the shade, you discover the two palaces of exhibition, the large and the small dating back to the universal exhibition of 1900, in the middle of pretty gardens. Soon on the horizon, the Eiffel Tower is already pointing its very elegant unique shape. Magnificent Alexandre III bridge under its gilding and very decorative style, you will spend on the left bank in the background coiffed invalids of the Dome gilded his Church. If you are not exhausted by this course, you will have enough energy to visit the Eiffel Tower and see the path and admire Paris from above. In front, spread the Trocadero gardens, still under construction and the building style Art deco on the Hill of Chaillot. All these places are accessible by metro stations, both Parisian and dense network.
