It faces the small square Raoul NORDLING which stands against the Church of St. Margaret. Created in 1994, he pays tribute to the cabinetmaker and Decorator "Art Nouveau" Louis Majorelle, who died in 1926. In the form of a labyrinth, many species are planted but at this time, nothing is in bloom. Rather, it gives a wild aspect of vegetation. It has a lot of benches where you can rest. This is a very quiet square. You can come by Metro, line 8, stations "Faidherbe-Chaligny" or "Ledru Rollin".

It is dedicated to Louis Majorelle (1859-1926), who was one of the initiators of the style "Art Nouveau" from the end of the 19th century, with the school of Nancy. This falls well, since "Art Nouveau" magnifies nature, in building decorations incorporating curves, shapes of natural elements. Paris, in account of beautiful examples. This square, which is square in shape, is original by its composition. It possesses a rather bushy central part, where nature expresses itself freely, and which is traversed by vegetal corridors with carved hedges. The periphery of the square, is shaded with a traffic alley and benches. Some Arbour and pergolas decorate the space. An elevated terrace allows you to have a clear view of the square. The other advantage of this small garden is the hydrangeas with multiple colors, which delight this space, from the beautiful season. Right next door, and in front of the charming Sainte Marguerite Church, which is seen through the plantations, the small square NORDLING, extends pleasantly "our garden with hydrangeas" with shadings and play areas. This square, whose view is not too damaged by the nearby buildings, is a haven of greenery and peace, in this neighborhood, close to the very lively rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine. It is accessible by metro station "Faidherbe Chaligny" line n ° 8, then going up the rue du Faubourg Saint Antoine towards the center of Paris and taking right the rue Saint Bernard.
I really like this little square. Nothing exceptional but a mixture of cries of children playing next door, the bells of the Church nearby, we think elsewhere time to read a few pages... In addition, I love hydrangeas and this is the specificity of this place. Lots of different species. I didn't even know there were so many. And surely more. So, outside the flowering period of the hydrangeas, needless to move if you want to see flowers...
Not bad but dirty (pigeons) and badly frequented (junkies)
