Lined with restaurants, cafes, bakeries, fishmongers, cheese shops, wine shops, produce stands, and boutiques, Rue Montorgueil is a historic street with an authentic feel. Impressionist painter Claude Monet depicted the street in his 1878 painting by the same name. The northern end is known as the Grand Boulevard, and the southern end has an enormous shopping center and open-air market. While the area offers modern conveniences, it has resolved to preserve its rich heritage of historical buildings and little village-style nooks. • We were staying close by in the rental similarity and were there almost every day to shop. In addition to all delicacy shops, here are also 3 supermarkets that are bigger than you think. Good ambiance and many options for good take away food. We ate Indian for about 12 euros close to the metro station and it was so delicious!
