  • Very interesting curiosity, unique in France, and which makes the delight of visitors, both metropolitan and foreign, this tiny circle nicknamed "the zero point" is none other than the national landmark from which the totality of distances is calculated. Not only is it worth the look and a picture, but of course, it sits at the foot of the majestic Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral that saw it being born. So a breathtaking scenery for other great photos, and a particular historical dimension. On the one hand, it originates from the middle ages, although its current form dates back to a century. And on the other hand, it is located on the island of the city, the hyper heart of Paris capital of France, quite a symbol therefore. If all roads lead to Rome, I often have the habit of saying that all roads also lead to Paris, which is geographically much fairer even in terms of infrastructure. Of course, the expression rather refers to the importance of the city, so even in this, it works for Paris, one of the major international capitals.

  • This Place on the square in front of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral is not immediately found because of the large crowds. The French Zero kilometer (Point zero des routes de France) is surrounded by a dense group of people wishing to photograph it (it is possible) or take a picture with it (which is quite difficult due to crowds). The Queue came up. There is a Photo. Very well.

  • Nice zero point of France’s routes. It’s on the floor front of the Notre Dame. Check the pictures about it. It’s fun to find it, first of all after sunset. ;)
  • Lucky to return to visit Notre Dame Cathedral again after so many years. Hard to give it anything less than five stars, unless you don't like Paris or cathedrals! Or gargoyles. Make sure to check out the lovely garden around back, with a small playground for children. Our daughter loved the swing and large spinning disc with space for several kids.
