It belonged to the antiquaire Ernest Eymonaud, hence its appellation and was inscribed in the historical monuments in 1995. It would prove that this "private property" is only visitable in summer, from Monday to Friday from 10 to 16 hours and during the heritage days. So now, until next summer, you will remain behind the metal Portal from where you can see practically nothing and in these conditions it is not worth the displacement... From this little impasse, one cannot unfortunately admire the main façade with the carved decorations, Windows, entrance door described on the Internet... You can only see the top of the square Tower... Look at the attached photos, you won't see anything more. For the subway, line 2, station "Blanche".

This style incorporates elements of architecture from the middle ages and the Renaissance, in reaction to the new styles "Empire and neo classic". In 1892, the architect Joseph-Charles Guirard of montarnal, built this superb House, for an antique dealer Ernest eymonaud, specialist in medieval decorations. This House, is made mainly of carved wooden elements, with mullioned Windows, decorated doors, peppers etc. Especially two carved wooden monkeys support a superb "bow-window" decorated with characters in frieze. The space in front of the House has been reduced and a small garden complements this place. The entrance door is in the neo Renaissance style surmounted by magnificent sculptures of floral decorations. A tower, high of 2 storeys, of square section, finished by a terrace in offset,. is leaning against the main building and gives a strange look to the whole. Medieval characters are carved in front of the Windows. The Interior is private domain, also one can visit during the heritage days or on organized visit. However, it is possible to see the exteriors by entering the courtyard, which is in front of the House. Sometimes the garden door stays open during the day. When I introduced myself in August, the garden was used as a resting area and I was able to enter to admire the meadows. This House is located at the end of the impasse Marie Blanche, which extends the rue Constance, which starts Rue Lepic at the level of no. 19. It has been listed in the historical monuments since 1995. It is accessible by the Metro station "Blanche" line no. 2. Then you have to go up Lepic Street and take the second street on the left. .
