  • It is a passage that was created in 1812 to allow the inhabitants of Rue de Richelieu to get to the garden of the royal palace more quickly. I do not see the point of travelling to Paris to see this type of passage, knowing that for example on Lyon, there are many and even in provincial cities such as Saint Gengoux the National. In addition, I would like to point out that this is a private passage and regrets the lack of an explanatory sign to explain to tourists the choice of the name of this passage. For the record, it was the passage of Beaujolais in 1857, from 1794 to 1814 on Rue d'Arcole, then rue du Beaujolais. 1849 Hoche Street etc. I'm starting to understand the lack of an explanatory sign because with every name change, it's a cost! Namely that the length is 17 meters and in 1794, it was a street !!!

  • It is convenient for a walk through the Palais Royal Gardens and then to the Opera. It's only 17 meters long, but I like the atmosphere and always pass by.
