  • A very friendly welcome, 3 rooms with very comfortable seats, a bar where you can relax before or after a session with a delicious little coffee with attentive service: the Cinema Le Balzac is part of the small world of cinemas that have been able to stay and offer film buffs a program with a desired and assumed eclecticism, thus allowing to offer the public films that are not screened in any cinematic multiplexe. I was able to discover in Room 2, Romain Cogitore's upsetting film "The Other Continent", a crazy love story that probes the strength and depth of feelings from their peak to their decline, with two solar actors: Deborah François and Paul Hamy. The only downside of this cinema is that it is not accessible to people in wheelchairs, and difficult to access to those with reduced mobility, but the hostess informed me that areas of improvement were being studied. She even told me that it is not uncommon to find good souls to help bring down and up the stairs to the armchairs, or a compassionate arm to secure the descents and climbs of moviegoers with disabilities. Do not hesitate to enter, because in addition to its screenings of films aimed at the "big ones", the Cinéma Le Balzac also organizes the weekend, to the delight of the "little ones", "Young Audience" sessions preceded by a "breakfast" reception, and on Saturday evening, in first part of the film screened in Room 1, jazz concerts. In addition, the cinema accepts subscription cards to the UGC-MK2 and Gaumont multiplexes. Cinema Le Balzac: it has everything of a great!

  • This film maintains the tradition of the Art Cinemas and test and perpetuates this programming. In 3 rooms, one large and two smaller, we can see movies programmed elsewhere and production from all the countries. At the moment it is programmed for example "The bride of the desert" to Argentina and Chile, "Makala" a film that takes place in the Congo, "A man of integrity" Iranian film, etc. This cinema also offers classical concerts on Saturday night before the movie and no extra charge, concerts of Jazz, Operas on big screen, etc. A bar is also open all day. In summary I love this theater which is located at n ° 1 Street near the Champs-Elysées Balzac!
