#107 of 184 in Museums in Paris
After a 10 year revamp, La Gaite Lyrique has been turned into Paris’s first ever digital cultural center. Come and explore this seven-floor multidisciplinary concert hall that invites you into the realms of digital art, music, graphics, film, fashion, design, and video games. The resource center also presents workshops, educational courses, and training in information retrieval.

Its program explores the relatively unchartered territory of digital art and the role of technology in artistic expression with displays such as electronic music concerts, live multimedia performances, guest appearances by famous international artists and DJs, and film projections. You can even just drop by for a decent cup of coffee and a flit through the magazines. Take a look at our Paris online driving holiday planner to schedule your visit to La Gaite Lyrique and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • Surprising place combining the hyper-modern with the old. Brunch is very good, made with quality products. The staff are very nice. The only downside is perhaps the price a little high, but the buffet is at will, so we go out repu if we wish.

  • Very friendly place to come and brunch with your family. The products are fresh and organic. The waiters pretty friendly. When you arrive 1 glass of fruit juice is offered. Only small downside not enough choice for the salty ... 28 thr and more brunch is ok for the quality of the food. I highly recommend this place to change a bit from the traditional bars.

  • I have seen this place as a place that is heavily touted for being a good place to work/study, yet I must admit I didn't find it to be especially good for either. What seemed like the working area, had eye-hurting dim lights for some reason while the library too sterile to set itself apart from anything or anywhere. Really not too bad but not that special either.
  • I was looking forward to visiting in this cultural/art space, but it wasn't open when I visited. Nevertheless a beautiful building in a chsrming neighborhood of Paris. There is a vegan grocery store about 7 minutes away by foot.
