  • If you like or want to discover organic and painless wines, this is the perfect place! Experts or neophytes, Hervé is always available to explain the wines. Every time you visit it's a new discovery.

  • I've tasted wine a number of times but this was by far the worst experience of the lifetime. While I'm a full supporter for organic and no additive wines, I also a strong believer in kindly treating customers. We came in to get away from the rain and to experience French wine tasting (on the tourist strip). From the start the owner was a bit cold and when I tried to crack a joke to relax the atmosphere a bit he didn't respond. It only got worse from there. Instead of truly educating us he followed his set script. When we mentioned from California he went on bashing Coppola wines, which he admittedly never tasted. As if Coppola is the only wine maker in California. When I asked more about the wine production process the answer was deflection. When I asked clarifications for what he meant by "this wine burns your nose" he said "go home and try smelling a burning match", "go home and drink some chlorine" was another suggestion. Through the entire tasting experience one thing was clear, the owner is deeply unhappy, has a very fragile ego and uses his customers to bolster his ego by putting them down. The tasting price was outrageous for French wine tasting. We paid to learn this lesson, I hope this review helps others to save money and dignity. DO NOT taste wine at this establishment.

  • I would absolutely recommend taking a moment to stop here. L'Etiquette is a fantastic, charming place! The owner Herve is extremely cool and gives great recommendations, as well as having plenty of wisdom and stories to pass along. I will be visiting again soon!
  • We went here many years ago - but still remember ‘007 aka Herve. He is a fantastic teacher of wine, culture and of life. Loved the Ringo Starr stories - but really loved the wines. :-) cannot wait to go back!
