The hammam has just reopened after several months of renovations, it's an opportunity to return. A small concern at the entrance, the posted rates no longer indicate the entrance alone, which was previously offered at 17-18th, an unbeatable rate for the capital. Information taken at the reception, the only one still exists, now proposed at 20th which remains extremely correct given the exceptional setting. The hammam of the Grand Mosque of Paris is known for its large ceiling heights, beautiful volumes and fresh water pool. If you choose to take the offer at 20th, be sure to take with you -Swimsuit (compulsory even if hammam reserved for women) -Black soap -Glove of scrub -Small towel on which to lie in the hammam (as a hygiene measure) -Serviette -1st deposit sponge for locker -1st to use the paid hairdryers of the locker room (1st - 8' use) -And all your beauty necessities As the name suggests the entrance alone means that you only have access to all the pieces that make up the hammam. To benefit from the rest of the services, you will need to take a 48th formula including a scrub made by professionals and a small massage. Keep in mind that the hammam of the Grand Mosque of Paris is a traditional hammam and not a SPA as there are dozens in Paris. The hammam of the Grand Mosque is a place of life in which women often come in groups (mother-daughter, girlfriends...). The place can be particularly frequented the WE hence the bad reviews you could read here or there. If, like me, you like the relaxing and serene atmospheres, prefer weekdays or lunch time (very quiet).

As there are no children's menus you can choose from the "supplements" and compose their dish ourselves, it's super convenient. I found the service adorable. Very good mint tea and served in style. Very good and varied pastries.
We just came for tea and a few treats one beautiful Saturday afternoon. Friendly and quick service on the gorgeous terrace. Wonderful mint tea for 2€ and a big variety of patisseries for 2€ each as well. Had no idea what we ate but it was delicious.
I haven't been inside the Mosque itself (2.50 EUR entry) but I did go to their bar/restaurant which is part of it. It's the perfect stop after visiting the botanical gardens or another walk in the neighborhood. You'll be able to get some typical sugar-boosted tea or some delicious sweet-tooth proof north African pastries. Don't get scared away by the small-sized garden in the front (which is great in late spring) because there are much spots in the back. Do know it can get crowded, especially on the weekend in the afternoons.
