The Paddles and balls they provide give you an adequate level as well as the tables, as to play very comfortable. Essential, for lovers of this sport like me and my daughter.
Nous n’avons même pas joué au ping-pong compte tenu de l’amabilité des barmans... nous avions pris un verre et de quoi grignoter avant d’aller jouer : l’arnaque... si vous voulez payer 10 balles pour ... more »We didn't even play Ping-Pong given the friendliness of the bartenders... We had a drink and snacks before going to play: the scam... If you want to pay 10 balls for a loaf of bread with an old piece of feta in it: go there it's the perfect place. It's a shame because the place could be nice.
The concept here is great but there are a few things standing in the way of this getting more than 2-stars and I'll explain. To begin, myself and another friend hosted a meetup here last night. We had 24 total guests including ourselves and we asked for nothing from the staff in the way of special treatment considering we were bringing them a bunch of clients. Despite not asking for anything, our very large group was treated the same as every other client in that if we wanted a table, we were expected to 'reserve' and to wait our turn, seems fair right? Well the problem is that they wouldn't allow us to play beyond 30 minutes; again with 24 people, there was no way we would get everyone a chance to play. Please note as well that they kept the downstairs area which has 6 tables closed until almost 11pm. Had they opened the downstairs to accommodate our group and the other patrons who came, there would not have been such a long wait between 30 minute sessions - note that we had our first 30 minute play at 8:30 and had to wait until 10pm to play again. Also worth noting is that 30 minutes is 6 euros, they offer a chance to reserve/privatize a table for 100 euros, which we saw no use in as we weren't planning on playing for hours on end. Beyond this, the prices for alcohol are high, starting at 7,50 for the cheapest pint and wine was more reasonable at 5 euros a glass. Overall I believe that if they change their rules for large groups, this would and could be a great place to spend an evening, even with the high prices for alcohol. Finally, the staff were not helpful, just repeating the "rules". We'll choose another venue for future meetups.
Very spacious bar, ruin pub style. Main obvious attraction: ping pong tables to rent. It can get crowded occasionally, a bit too noisy and it can quickly become pricey if you want to play more than half an hour. At times, staff can become overwhelmed and passive aggressive (like one would when overwhelmed...)
