While traveling through Europe, you may end up at Gare St. Lazare, one of the six large terminus railway stations of Paris. It is the second busiest railway station in Europe with 100 million passengers transiting every year, and also the second busiest station in Paris, behind the Gare du Nord.

Gare St. Lazare is served by long distance Intercités trains towards Normandy and regional Transilien trains to the western suburbs of Paris.

  • The building of this railway station dates back to the year 1837 and is currently the second with the most movement of the city. There's a good shopping center to support everyone who passes through here. Outside stands a small monument consisting of suitcases of travel, referring to those who sought in Paris a better life.
