  • This gigantic fresco is called "the pond of Thau". It was realized in 2017 by the artist Montpellier Maye. His mural painting transports us to the Camargue. The work depicts a Camargue rider (a gardian) wearing a hat. He is dressed in the traditional dress and shoes. His beard is flowered. He holds in his right hand a Trident, which allows the gardian of Camargue to obey the bulls. The aerosol spray that it holds in the other hand vaporizes butterflies. The cavalier to the filiform members reminds of some kind of puppet. Maye replaces in his fresco the horse of the gardian by a pink Flemish that he rides. The pink Flemish (the emblematic bird of the Camargue) stands on a paw. This painting with a Paintbrush is full of small details: bees come out of the rider's hat, the Eiffel Tower Keychain that the rider holds by hand... Victorian Liria, alias Maye, is a young artist-painter. He is self-taught in painting. He spoke first in the streets of Montpellier. He has produced several large frescoes in the cities of the province: Toulouse, Sète, Montpelliers, Nîmes, Grenoble, Orléans. Maye also paints on canvas and exhibits in Gallery. His fantasy and dreamlike artistic world is reminiscent of Dali's. Feel free to come and discover this beautiful fresco of Maye at 131 Boulevard Vincent Auriol and enjoy to discover the other works of the neighborhood. In the vicinity you can contemplate more than a dozen frescoes by different artists.

  • In the 13th arrondissement, at 131 Boulevard Vincent Auriol, on the blind side of a building, you will discover this monumental fresco titled "the Camargue". Created in may 2017, ELL is the work of the native painter of Sète, Victorian Liria, known as "Maye". It represents a "camarguais" overlapping a pink Flemish. Look at the details and you will see some objects embedded in this work, a paint bomb, a key ring with the Eiffel Tower, butterflies... A great work. You can come by Metro, line 6, station "nationale".

  • Go here. You won't be dissapointed. We had tried many in Paris & been generally underwhelmed. Typical French cuisine, quick and *well priced*. English speaking avail. Portions great, & specials are innovative. Even kids liked it.
  • Delicious and very welcoming. Waitress and servers are warm and kind to translate each item in menu for us. Reasonably priced.
