  • If you exit the metro at Porte de Saint-Cloud, then you cannot miss this. The fountains are no longer flowing water but the large centerpieces are very easy to spot....in the middle of the roundabout....  more »
  • Created in 1936 by the architects billiards and Apple and the renowned sculptor Paul Landowski, this pair of monumental fountains decorate the place of the door of St. Cloud. They are completely covered with bas-reliefs. One represents the Seine bringing the products of the Earth in Paris and the other represents Paris, city of Art and work. The medallions in bronze at the bottom of the fountains where the water have themes the Italian comedy and aquatic animals. To preserve, these fountains are no longer in service for a few years. You can come by metro line 9 station "Door of St. Cloud". By bus, several lines like 22, 62, 72, 175, 189 and PC1... stop of the same name.
