  • The construction of this brick Church spanned from 1914 to 1926. Outside, nothing special. Inside, the way of the cross is modern. We will especially enjoy the chorus with its murals of the painter "Birch" of 1945 and its huge mosaic. The high altar with his earthenware. The mass altar and lectern are modern. The Gallery organ is from 1951. Of beautiful stained glass historiés in the nave. Come by metro, station "Botzaris" or vehicle, location of paid parking in the street.

  • This church is located at no. 9 street of the Mouzaia, in the 19th arrondissement. It has a high square bell tower of section, brick topped with two decorative cornices. Built between 1914 and 1919 to accompany the expansion of the district, it uses the new techniques of the time with including of reinforced concrete imitating wood especially for "the frame" of the ceiling. It is surprisingly simple to be in harmony with the principle of the Franciscans. On the other hand, Interior is richly decorated with especially the chorus who possesses of superb murals painted in relation to the life of St. Francis of Assisi and the Gospel. These date from 1945 by Charles Bouleau. A great mosaic decorates the apse of the choir signed by Mauméjean, collective of glass masters, in 1930. Some elements of the choir are Byzantine style, which connects this church with the rites of the early Christians. This church is structured like the religious buildings of the region of Umbria in Italy, homeland of St. Francis, in a style says "Italian novel". Simplicity amazes and gives him a very successful look, favoring the shards of stained glass in the Sun. The way of the cross is made of cut paper, work of a parishioner "Pierre Avon" style pretty original and successful! I really loved the polychrome stained-glass windows that illuminate both sides of the ambulatory. All are in relation to the Gospels, the Virgin and child and the life of St. Francis of Assisi and his followers. Some of these windows have been recently renovated, which gives them a special glow. Moreover, this church is very bright thanks to the clear glass in the high parts of the sides of the nave with white walls. Art deco is also present in this church with the balcony, which supports organ style modern, ornate wrought iron with a clock above the Narthex. The Church is accessible by the metro station "Botzaris" line no. 7 B

  • Small neighborhood church. A priest has the height. Complacent, selfless, attentive, generous.
